The role:
This position will provide technical leadership and high level technical skills in the analysis of ICT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements as well as maintain and manage effective working relationships and engage with third parties that provide technical support for the enterprise infrastructure
Further responsibilities include:
- Manage and contribute to the development, publication, implementation and compliance to technical policies, standards and procedures at an enterprise level.
- Ensure compliance and optimal performance of enterprise service levels by managing and performing the dissemination and implementation of policies, processes and standards for technical configuration of the enterprise infrastructure.

To be successful in the position of Senior Operations Specialist, you will demonstrate:
- Ability to develop and promote Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes based on the ITIL framework, primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration management. (SFIA Code: ITMG 6, USUP 5; CHMG 5)
- High level of expertise and experience in the following technology domains to analyse, provide technical direction, standardisation, professional advice and support of enterprise ICT services in a large customer focus organisation
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 (OS and Hardware)
- PowerShell
- Web Servers (IIS7+, Apache)
- Citrix XenApp 7
- System Centre Suite (Configuration Manager, Operations Manager)
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DFS, DNS, DHCP
- Virtualization (VMware vSphere 6.2)
- Remote Desktop Services
- Networking (Ethernet, TCP/IP)
- Programming (.NET Framework, C#)
