The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Planner to be a part of our Program Controls team within Roads and Maritime Services. This position plays a key role in the Program Controls Division and reports directly to the Director Program Services.

The primary purpose of the role is to develop and coordinate a schedule for the Program Office’s portfolio of projects to support reporting, decision making and appropriate allocation of resources between projects.

We are looking for a professional who has experience in, and can demonstrate the development and maintenance of strong working relationships with project and branch management teams to ensure the core duties are delivered to a high standard. Ideal person will have experience working within a matrix management structure where support services are embedded within delivery teams and must have proven project scheduling experience.

The salary for this position is USS Grade 11 ($135,443 - $144,521) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.

Essential requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in project schedule development, project scheduling and experience with Advanced Project Scheduling using MS Project and Primavera.
