My NSW Government client are seeking an experienced Compliance and Regulation Officer for an initial 4 month contract with possibility of extension.
Key Purpose of the role:
The main purpose of this role is to ensure corruption and undue influence are prevented throughout the organisation. Regulatory or legislative experience is an essential requirement for this role.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ability to carry out the day to day running of the business, making sure that the department meets key milestones and deliver the required outcomes for the business.
- Using your initiative to make decisions, knows when to elevate and ask for assistance, ideally with regulatory experience and a customer/client service experience understanding.
- understanding a process driven environment and the need to do what we do efficiently both for the business and for the stakeholder.
In order to be considered for this role you must possess the following:
- Proven experience in a regulatory or legislative environment
- The ability to work as a strong team member
- The ability to interpret legislation and communicate this to members of the team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
