About you
We are looking for two motivated and driven Statutory Enforcement Officer’s to join our Statutory Planning and Compliance Team. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for leading and influencing community compliance in the areas of building, planning and health.
About the role
As a Statutory Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for assisting the Manager of Statutory Planning and Compliance and Senior Compliance Officer in conducting investigations into unauthorised developments within the Shire. The role will require you to conduct site inspections, liaise and negotiate with shire residents and property owners, prepare reports and legal briefs, as well as representing the Shire at the State Administrative Tribunal.
