About the Role
This role will require you to provide professional leadership within the Acute Physiotherapy Service together with the Acute Physiotherapist Team Leader.
- Contribute to the development of clinical service standards within the acute physiotherapy service including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that aim to optimise patient outcomes and support the continuum of care.
- Provide high level clinical advice to patients, families, carers and colleagues including professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding physiotherapy service delivery.
- Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within clinical service area and actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of the acute physiotherapy service and general physiotherapy professional services.
