A highly challenging and rewarding role, you will be a proactive professional who enjoys utilising their strengths and experience in clinical research. As part of a dynamic and innovative health service, you will provide ENT clinical services of the highest possible standard to patients of Flinders Medical Centre both in terms of individual performance and by contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care. Providing a high quality ENT service under the direction of the ENT consultants, you will be actively involved in teaching medical students and junior medical staff and conduct research as required. 

Drawing on your experience, you will provide appropriate support, teaching, direction and training to junior medical officers and medical students. Enjoy using a multidisciplinary team approach, you may provide clinical outpatient and inpatient services to Flinders Medical Centre, and Noarlunga Health Service.

Required is a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration. ENT surgical experience is essential, as is a passion for and proven strong commitment to research. You will have research experience and publication in peer-reviewed journals, reflecting highly developed communication skills both written and verbal, able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues and other professional staff. Flexible and adaptable, you must be able to be on call effectively as required by the on call roster. This is a rare opportunity to gain skills in ENT surgery where you will be allowed to perform a range of ENT basic procedures as an unaccredited registrar.
