We have an opportunity for a Reporting Manager to join the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Branch in the Business Services Division within Roads and Maritime Services. Reporting directly to the Director of Risk Services , you will be responsible for providing targeted safety data and performance reporting to enable a platform for better practice, regulatory compliance and WHS performance improvement. As the WHS Reporting Manager, the role facilitates meaningful corporate work health and safety reporting to enable effective decision-making and the continuous improvement of safety risk management practices at Roads & Maritime.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to interpret data and create safety performance reporting for senior management. In addition, you will have strong communication and organisation skills, proficient experience with Microsoft Excel and be able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Remuneration package: RMS USS Level 11 ($135,443 - $144,521), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual loading

Essential requirements
- Tertiary qualifications at a minimum level of Advanced Diploma or Graduate Diploma in WHS Management or a related discipline. Or an equivalent body of professional experience including demonstrated application of a significant range of fundamental principles and complex techniques across a variety of contexts.
- Demonstrated significant experience in establishing corporate WHS reporting in high risk and diverse environments.
- Extensive experience in the application of contemporary WHS reporting methodologies.
- Extensive experience in the use and interrogation of information systems and databases including generating reports, data analysis and root cause analysis.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of NSW WHS legislation and its application to hazardous industries.
