The Queensland Rural & Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) specialises in the administration of government financial assistance and legislative programs, with their purpose being to assist in creating sustainable rural communities. This includes the administration of the Primary Industry Productivity Enhancement Scheme (First Start & Sustainability Loans) and the Farm Business Debt Mediation Program, assisting farmers in financial distress with business decisions for their primary production enterprises. They also deliver other financial assistance programs and services on behalf of state, territory and federal governments.
QRIDA now have a position available for an Assessment Officer in their Client Management division. Joining a busy team of 10 Relationship and Support Officers, you will provide supervisor customer service to QRIDA’s loan clients and assist them with their day to day account and security requirements. This includes extracting and analysing financial statements and cashflow to determine accurate, timely and reliable financial analysis, and complete loan reviews.
We are keen to hear from you if you possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Agribusiness, Accounting, Economics or similar
- Direct exposure to rural and small business operations
- Commercial/agribusiness lending/accounting experience
- Empathy with rural and regional Australia
- Experience in compiling credit applications
