About the team
Our online learning unit is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of our digital learning for staff, clients and volunteers. We work with subject matter experts in supporting migrants and refugees into employment, development of English language and to learn about essential services in Australia. We are excited by making things work and learning how to get the most out of technology to support our staff, clients and the community. Our business is growing digitally and so are we with 3 new roles to further extend our services.
About the role
This role is all about using your skills, knowledge and enthusiasm for digital development to coordinate projects that help develop the skills of our clients, staff and volunteers. We use various content authoring tools such as Camtasia/Storyline/Rise/Powtoon, but we are open to using new technologies to build even better and more engaging tools.
We build online learning to help staff know how to use our tools, undertake compliance training online and help induct staff. AMES Australia supports the community and individuals to achieve their goals, but we have traditionally been doing this face-to-face. This role is also about helping to inspire change by leading the way developing new methods of delivering our essential services and helping support our clients digitally and around the clock.
About you
If you have a positive attitude and demonstrated experience in project coordination of elearning projects (end to end), Learning Management System and mobile learning content development and stakeholder engagement and management, then we'd love to have you on our team.
Key skills, qualifications and experience
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- At least 1-2 years teaching or training experience
- Strong authoring skills in developing eLearning, mlearning or multimedia
- Provide expert advice in the identification and resolution of technical issues relating to the development and deployment of digital content (such as publication to a LMS)
- Develop and maintain knowledge of new multimedia and design tools, software, technologies and design trends to ensure currency of development solutions
- Create and maintain effective working relationships in a small team and relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to a culture which is team based, collaborative, consultative and outcome focused (and happiness)
Desirable requirements
- Experience creating content with Adobe, Articulate 360 or similar
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of the multimedia role and have a team orientated approach
Based at our head office in Melbourne CBD. The Digital eLearning developer / instructional designer (myAMES Project Coordinator) position is being offered on a fulltime maximum term basis to 30 June 2019, and the annual salary is $78,734 + 9.5% super.
