We are looking for

  • A project officer with an understanding of contemporary issues, challenges and directions facing NSW Intensive Care Services

  • Someone who can interpret complex information rapidly and accurately

  • An individual who is committed to establishing and nurturing positive stakeholder relationships both internal & external

 

What you will be doing

The Project Officer, Intensive Care NSW will lead and contribute in the development and implementation of projects that will improve the quality and safety of adult intensive services across NSW.

You will lead the Clinical Guideline Development projects and work collaboratively with hospital managers, clinicians, and the Intensive Care NSW staff to provide comprehensive services to support the work plans from the Intensive Care NSW Committees.

Selection criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Health discipline with demonstrated experience in a management or leadership role in Intensive Care.

  2. Strong understanding of contemporary issues, challenges and directions facing NSW Intensive Care Services.

  3. Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate change and improvement initiatives with senior clinicians and executives.

  4. Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of clinical practice guidelines.
