We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Planning and Project Officer to join our Planning and Project Officer team in this newly created role to develop the Positive Ageing Strategy and Municipal Early Years Plan.
In this role you will you be required to undertake community consultation, data analysis and research to identify community needs and opportunities. You will formulate projects plans and strategies to support access and participation for children, families and older adults as well as developing an early years and positive ageing planning framework.
To succeed in this role you will be an effective team player, have good verbal and written communication skills, time management skills and be proficient in community engagement and consultation.
The successful applicant will have knowledge of relevant government policy direction and issues affecting older adults and the early years. Experience in data analysis, community consultation and quality report writing would be highly regarded.
