Your role:

The Clinical Nurse (School Based Youth Health Nurse) provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused evidence-based nursing care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of client care and provides leadership and support to other school staff within the Bowen and Collinsville High Schools.

Your team:

The Bowen Hospital has 27 beds providing general acute care for both adults and children, a 24-hour Emergency Department, palliative care, oncology day service, home care service, dental clinic as well as various clinics and visiting services. The hospital is currently under redevelopment with the Emergency Department already redeveloped and the other areas of the hospital being upgraded.

The School Based Youth Health Nurse position is based within the high school environment and covers both Bowen and Collinsville High Schools.

Conditions of employment:
