About the Role

Reporting to the Director, Operational & Regulatory Support, you will lead a team and ensure delivery of quality learning and development solutions that best address the capability needs of the Health & Safety Business Unit. Working with key internal business partners, you will provide technical support and implementation of business plans aligning to the delivery of the Health & Safety Strategy. In addition, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Operate in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Provide positive people leadership and management – enhancing innovation and performance
  • Lead the delivery of national accredited training programs, an induction program and ongoing professional development  
  • Prepare annual training and development planning and budgeting

Skills & experience

  • Proven capability in leading and managing a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in a similar position, with demonstrated ability to educate others and facilitate learning
  • Tertiary qualification aligned to Training & Development or similar
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing capabilities
  • Strong planning, project, budget and resource management experience
