Your new position

As the Principal Fraud and Corruption Control, you will use your skills and experience to assist the Manager Internal Audit and Compliance in development, implementation and management of the Fraud and Corruption Control Framework.

This is an exciting time at Seqwater, as we embed our new Vision and Values.  We are looking for an individual with exceptional analytical and interrogation skills who can:

  • Assist the Manager Internal Audit and Compliance in developing, implementation and management of the Fraud and Corruption Control Strategy and Annual Plan.
  • Oversees the execution of the fraud and corruption prevention and detective activities as identified per the Fraud and Corruption Risk Register.
  • Facilitate the embedding of fraud and corruption risk management controls within the business.
  • Responsible for undertaking complex and sensitive special investigations & reviews and provide comprehensive reporting on investigation/review outcomes.
  • Assist the Manager Internal Audit and Compliance in reporting the Fraud and Corruption Progress Activities to the Board’s Audit and Risk Management Committee.
  • Responding to external agencies reporting requirements in an accurate and timely manner. 
  • Manage relationships with key accountable individuals and committees that have Fraud and Corruption Role Responsibilities as per the Fraud and Corruption Policy.

 

About you

To see you succeed in this values-led organisation you will have tertiary qualifications in a related field such as forensic investigation and/or audit, fraud and corruption as well as:

  • Demonstrated extensive experience of 4-6 years in fraud and corruption prevention and detection
  • Ability to play a key influencer role in raising awareness within the organisation on fraud and corruption matters.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting privacy where required. 
  • An ability to work under pressure
  • Highly developed ability to deliver professional value added and risk focussed advice to management both verbally and in writing, relating to fraud and corruption matters.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to interrogate and generate reports from various computer applications and databases.
  • Highly developed written communication skills, including demonstrated experience in conducting research and compiling reports of a high standard.

This position has been graded as a Common Law Band 8 position with a salary range of $145k to $175k (depending on experience)
