- Generous remuneration, Clerk Grade 9-10, salary starting from $105, 409 plus super
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Officer to join the Regulatory Intelligence team with Liquor & Gaming NSW.
The Senior Project Officer develops and manages multiple projects and initiatives to support liquor and gaming regulatory activities. The role focuses on gathering, analyzing and reporting relevant regulatory intelligence data across all sectors to inform strategic/tactical planning and decision making to improve regulatory outcomes.

About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have experience in project management and capability to ensure quality and consistency of regulatory intelligence activities.
- Be effective at prioritizing tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills – the ability to prepare cogent briefs on sensitive issues and foster stakeholder relationships will be highly valued.
- Be able to provide advice on a range of complex intelligence issues to senior stakeholders in government and industry.
Essential requirements include
- Proven project management experience, preferably in an intelligence environment
- An ability to understand business needs, articulate and document business problems and develop a range of solutions.
About us
Liquor & Gaming NSW (L&GNSW) is a division of the Department of Industry and is responsible for the overall regulatory framework across liquor, registered clubs and gambling activities in NSW. L&GNSW's responsibilities include compliance, enforcement, and licensing functions, as well as providing policy advice, program evaluation and executive support to the NSW Government.
