What We Are Offering

This position manages services to the development industry & community that comply with Council's statutory & regulatory responsibilities of functions of; town planning, development control, strategic land use planning, land information, public & environmental health, building regulation control, on-site sewage management & ranger services.
Providing leadership & expertise in the development of improvement programs related to assessment, compliance and regulatory services, procedures & policies.
The requirements for this role are outlined in the position description & include:
- Tertiary qualified in Town Planning or Environmental Health & Building or Applied Science (Environmental Health) or Health & Building Surveying or equivalent.
- 5 years + experience in a related field.
- Experience managing a team.
- Knowledge & ability to interpret & apply relevant legislation, standards, guidelines.
- Commitment to delivering customer service & responsiveness to customer requests including & ability to apply customer service techniques.
