Gumala Enterprises Pty Ltd (GEPL) as Trustee for the Gumala Enterprises Trust is the commercial arm of the Gumala group, and is owned by Gumala Aboriginal Corporation (GAC). GAC works hard to serve the Banyjima, Innawonga and Nyiyaparli people of the Pilbara region in Western Australia.

Gumala Enterprises Pty Ltd (GEPL) is pleased to invite applications from eligible individuals to take on a role as an Independent Director on the GEPL Board.

GEPL is an Aboriginal community-owned company operating in a number of fields throughout Western Australia including civil contracting and engineering, tourism and the provision of services to the mining sector.

GEPL’s main focus is ensuring long-term, sustainable profits from its commercial activities and providing profits back to the beneficiaries, GAC and Gumala Investments Pty Ltd (GIPL).

To be considered, candidates must be of good reputation with appropriate professional or business qualifications to properly perform the functions of an Independent Director.

Additionally, applicants may not have any family association with any Traditional Owners of the Gumala Aboriginal Corporation. Nor should applicants have any material business affiliation with any Traditional Owners of a nature that would prevent or hinder the impartial and objective discharge of their duties as an Independent Director. All Directors are required to undertake regular travel to Perth and the Pilbara for Board meetings.
