About the role
 

The Vendor Operations Manager role is part of the Service Management & Assurance team in ICT Operations.  The primary purpose of the role is to manage the operational service compliance and performance for vendor sourced services.  Additionally, the Vendor Operations Manager is the escalation point within FACS ICT for the services delivered by the Vendor.

 

This is on ongoing full time role in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.

 

A Recruitment Pool may be created to fill similar roles for both ongoing and temporary opportunities if and as they arise.

Targeted Questions


Provide a short, succinct answer (limited to one page for each answer) to the following questions:

 

  1. How do you establish appropriate Vendor Operational governance meetings regarding the review (and performance of services) in line with the contract?  (Please provide an example of when you have done this)
  2. How do you resolve a situation when a Vendor had consecutively breached a Service Level?  (Please use an example from your work history to demonstrate your experience)

 

Part of the assessment process may include additional online capability testing, skills testing or work samples in accordance with the new Government Sector Employment Act 2013; therefore you may be contacted to participate. You may also be asked to complete a Health Declaration Form in later stages of the assessment process.
