About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Federal Government Agency to engage an EL1 Program and Project Assurer. This position is located in their busy Adelaide office with an initial 10 month contract with possible extensions.
  
About the Role 
In performing a leadership role, the Assurer identifies, drives and operationalises innovation and change, and has an active role in contributing to the implementation of the department's portfolio management office direction.

Duties

• Drive the delivery and continual improvement of assurance services
• Support the maturity development of assurance related capabilities
• Drive the quality assurance and strengthening of the portfolio, programmes and projects
• Effective management of risks and issues
• Provide expert assurance advice and consultancy 
• Undertake facilitation of workshops and presentations
• Drive a culture that is service oriented, whilst agile and contextual in delivery
• Provide briefs and reports to committees and senior executives

 
Requirements/Skills

• Experience with agile and waterfall project methodologies
• Experience with project management best practice frameworks (assurance and risk management)
• The Three Lines of Defence model
• Baseline Security Clearance desired
