Senior Project Officer
Better Regulation Governance and Program Management Office

• Exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Officer within BRD Governance and Project Management Office 
• Ongoing (permanent) role based in Sydney CBD or Gosford
• Clerk Grade 9/10, salary range $108,044 - $119,061 - plus annual leave loading and employer contribution to superannuation 

An exciting new opportunity exists within the Project Management Office for a highly motivated, experienced and customer-focused Senior Project Officer. This role will involve managing multiple projects, including communicating and facilitating workshops with stakeholders, developing and monitoring project plans and preparing clear and accurate reports to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The Senior Project Officer is an important role that contributes to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives. This role will undertake research and analysis, identify trends and prepare project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Demonstrated project management experience from concept, to conducting research and designing and implementing practical solutions for stakeholders. Experience in implementing processes, frameworks and governance. 
• Demonstrated experience in applying knowledge and understanding of Project Management best practice methods, fundamentals and tools
• Highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders 
• Experience in the design and delivery of risk and evidence based projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a solution focussed, consultative approach
• Demonstrated high level personal motivation to deliver results. 
• Ability to travel interstate and throughout metropolitan Sydney and regional areas when required
