Our client, a Federal Government Department located in the heart of Canberra city are seeking an experienced, flexible and proactive Strategy Officer to commence on this labour hire contract until the end of December 2018.
Working as a part of a small, diverse team some of the duties will include:
- Review, analyse and interpret complaint data findings
- Conduct online research and interpret legislation
- Relay information to relevant stakeholders both verbally and in writing
- Draft minutes, briefings and reports
- Provide relevant advice and support to senior executives
- Assist with the development and maintenance of effective working relationships with relevant Government bodies and associations
We are seeking applicants with relevant experience that are also hold the below attributes and skills:
- Demonstrated experience in interrogating data
- Demonstrated experience in using a Case Management System preferably Resolve
- Strong written skills with experience in APS report writing
- Excellent record management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- High level of attention to detail
A criterion for this role is to secure a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
Candidates should be aware that the security clearance process can take some time to complete. You must have the ability to obtain a clearance, therefore to assist in the timely completion of the required process you will need to be an Australian citizen, have maintained Australian residency for a minimum of 10 consecutive years, or have a current clearance which is able to be re-activated.
