Residents and tourists alike seek out Cowra's fascinating history, from the days of steam trains to the largest Prisoner of War breakout in modern military history.

Having been declared "Fit for the Future", Council now has a strong foundation to be able to plan for the future and continue to provide the infrastructure and services expected by our community.

We have 180 staff and a budget of $34.6 million.  We pride ourselves on our contemporary, professional approach with a focus on customer service excellence.
