Your Skills and Attributes:
- Certificate in Horticulture, Parks and Gardens and/or Land & Conservation Management
- Cert III in Arboriculture/Horticulture
- Previous climbing experience
- Previous experience in a Horticultural/Landscaping/Conservation role
- Experience and knowledge in plant ID and vegetation
- White Card
- MR (or higher) truck license
- ACDC license
- Chainsaw license
- First Aid (advantageous)
- Traffic Management qualifications (advantageous)
- Fire control qualifications (advantageous)
- Chipper & Stump Grinder Experience
Application Requirements:
Day to day maintenance of Sydney parks, gardens, natural areas & habitats
Driving fleet vehicles
Operating relevant maintenance machinery
Completing basic paperwork and housekeeping of the vehicles
Weed control, spraying
General gardening, pruning, planting and area clean ups
Completing project and routine work programs
Relating to the community in a helpful and respectful way
Working in a team environment
