Do you want to make a difference in reducing homelessness?
A unique opportunity is available for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to apply for the position of Port Phillip Zero Snr Project Officer.
The Senior Project Officer will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of Port Phillip Zero, a collective impact partnership initiative aimed at reducing incidents of homelessness in our City.
The successful applicant will coordinate existing resources across the City and foster partnership initiatives that contribute the understanding and reduction of homelessness in Port Phillip.
The Senior Project Officer will utilise their knowledge and understanding of the housing and homelessness sector to provide sound and appropriate advice to the Port Phillip Zero leadership and working groups in relation to housing and homelessness support, strategy development and partnership implementation and system change.
As the Senior Project Officer your key responsibilities will be to:
- Support whole of community partnership initiatives that contribute to “Functional Zero” by matching homelessness with innovative ways of increasing housing supply, housing allocation and other support
- Provide support to the formation of the Port Phillip Zero partnership with a focus upon shared goal and targets, governance, resourcing and program logic modelling.
- Coordinate formation, activities and reporting responsibilities of the leadership group and associated working groups with a focus upon developing shared goals and targets for reducing homelessness
- Develop shared data collection and use protocols that provide for rapid identification and rehousing of people sleeping rough
- Engage with university partners to develop and maintain the metrics necessary for the monitoring and evaluation of the program
