• Planning Officer role within a metro council
• South Eastern Suburbs, 30K from CBD
• Contract until end of 2018

Design & Build are currently working with a Council located in the South Eastern suburbs. Council are seeking a graduate planning or building officer for a contract until the end of the year.
  
The position will be with the Building team assessing report and consent applications that includes, however is not limited to siting of structures, building over easement, hoarding and flooding consents.
  
This role is suited to a graduate hoping to get their foot into a contract role within Local Government. The successful candidate must have experience using Pathway systems or have industry experience within planning.
  
Graduates who have completed a placement previously within a council are strongly encouraged to apply.
  
Requirements include:

• Tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Urban Studies, Environmental Planning or related discipline.
• Victorian Statutory Planning experience or Pathway systems experience essential to the success of applications received.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
