An exciting opportunity exists for an Evaluation Engineer (Offroad) to join a large OEM company within their Product and Development Division.

Working as part of the off-road team, you’ll be involved in the testing of vehicles in natural environments across Australia. In this role you’ll be primarily responsible for conducting and reporting on a wide range of vehicle and environmental evaluations.

You’ll be part of an expanding area of the business working on global vehicle projects.

The ability to travel for extended periods (including remote locations) is essential.

Working with the Vehicle Evaluation and Development Team you will be responsible for

• Supporting the lead engineer with the implementation of agreed vehicle test processes to achieve vehicle evaluation objectives
• Overseeing the planning and reporting of tests to produce meaningful and accurate data
• Translating large amounts of information into reports to share with senior stakeholders
• Meeting project deliverables within timeframes, maintaining safety standards
• Working as part of a passionate team to complete divisional targets

Requirements:

• Engineering degree
• High proficiency with Excel
• Current driver’s license, off-road driving experience would be an advantage
• Vehicle Development experience would be an advantage
• Flexibility to travel regularly
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
