Electrical Design Drafter- Large Electrical Contractor, South Eastern Suburbs
Your new company
Our client is a large well established Electrical Contractor based which is well established over various interstate offices. They are a multi disciplined electrical contractor and they provide a range of project services across the industrial and commercial sectors. These specialism`s include electrical services, general light and power installations and data and communications facilities. Due to recent successes and growth they now have an opportunity for a Electrical design Drafter to join their team.
Your new role & What you'll need to succeed
Our client requires a good, fast drafts-person to assist with the lighting designs and CAD work associated with a large commercial project. You will be required to take floor plans in CAD format and convert them to RCP’s from an audit completed by other members of the team.
You will be required to have good quality CAD skills to accurately build up the drawings and add in the fitting types in each room. Furthermore you need to plug in the light fitting specifications using AGi and produce a lighting design to meet the current standards.
Our client has multiple buildings to complete for the foreseeable future and this position should run for the next 6 months to do the design works. This position will be available to start immediately at our clients main office- based in the southern eastern suburbs. The ideal candidate will also have;
- Be completely proficient with AutoCAD
- Local experience with lighting design
- Some experience with AGi preferred
- Good communication skills and a practical approach.
