Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical advisory and management services to external clients, related to the Core Service Offering of Waste Management and, as required, Project Management, Asset Management, Procurement, and NDRRA Disaster Response.
- Manage delegated tasks to meet scope, program, revenue and quality objectives.
- Complete delivery of assigned tasks and/or projects within approved budgets, while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Make suggestions to develop and promote products, services and tools to enhance and streamline our offerings under the direction of the Director Asset and Project Services.
- Identify opportunities for product, service or tool development that enhance and streamline PEAK’s service offering.
- Foster strong and mutually supportive relationships with stakeholders, clients and staff.
- Contribute to other projects and initiatives as required.
This position may involve travel throughout Queensland and possibly other states.
Skills and Experience
- A bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate study in Project Management, Engineering, Business or a related discipline
- A minimum 7 years’ experience in the Asset and Projects Services ‘Core Service Offerings’ weighted towards Asset Management.
- Demonstrated experience in a professional environment in project, engineering, asset management or similar and experience in consultancy environment
- Demonstrated experience in local government asset management and administration
- Working knowledge of IIMM and IPWEA asset management practices and ISO55000
- Other Skill areas:
- Highly self-motivated
- Personal time management
- Knowledge of asset management plans including levels of service, data driven decision making (data analysis using MS Excel), asset useful life and asset condition and impairment
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Communications and Administration
