As Structural Engineer, you’ll be responsible for undertaking technical engineering, detailed design and analysis structures across heavy industrial, commercial, materials handling and mineral processing projects. It is also expected that you mentor junior engineers while managing key clients and identifying new areas to further grow the business.
The role will be challenging, varied and demanding while offering fantastic opportunities to further develop your career and skill set.
Key Criteria
To be considered for the role, applicants would need to demonstrate the following experience and skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Structural Engineering
- Extensive local market experience working within an engineering design consultancy
- Must have been exposed to local heavy commercial, industrial, mining or materials handling projects.
- Competent and experienced in providing technical expertise across a broad range of projects without close supervision.
- Proven ability to prepare high level technical reports and review medium size project reports
- Ability to communicate proficiently both verbally and in writing, in a variety of high-level, technical and business settings.
- Confident in building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships
- Able to contribute to the growth of the business by identifying opportunities
- Project management experience with a strong commercial acumen
- Acute knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines
- A current manual WA driver’s license
- Applicants must reside in Australia and have current Australian work rights.
