Water Engineer – Port Macquarie
We are currently seeking applications from experienced Water Engineers, with various specialities including Pipes and Pumps and Hydrology, to join our team in Port Macquarie.
 
Working for GHD will afford you the opportunity to work on a broad range of water and waste water projects with a focus on delivering comprehensive client solutions on time and within budget. Key to your success will be your knowledge and understanding of water industry legislation and your ability to create and design solutions for our clients.
 
You will be responsible for:

• Providing technical knowledge and guidance to our clients
• Assisting in securing and delivering water and waste water engineering projects
• Supporting projects through other service groups and offices as required
• Project Management
• Undertaking design and investigation work
• Contribute to high quality proposals, reports, documents and other deliverables for clients

To be successful in this position you will be degree qualified, with a minimum of 5 years design experience within the Water Engineering industry, and will possess the following competencies:

• Experience working on stormwater, hydrology or hydraulics projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated proactive approach in technical service delivery
• Ability to work within dedicated project teams and a multidisciplinary consulting environment (including support for roads, rail, mining and other infrastructure projects)
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
