TMS Consulting is working in conjunction with one of Australia’s eminent providers of industrial automation and control services. Due to steady growth, they are searching for an experienced Service Technician for the Brisbane Metropolitan Area to provide support for critical industrial automation and control technologies. The incumbent will be an 'A' grade electrician with PLC fault-finding experience.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting using online PLC tools across all the major platforms including Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Schneider, Omron, Mitsubishi and more.
• Field Service and Breakdown support for a range of customers
• Offsite remote support
• Assistance with the commissioning of projects
• Variable Speed Drive repair
• Instrumentation Calibrations
• On the job timekeeping and invoicing

 
Essential Skills and Experience

• Class A Electrical Licence
• Demonstrable experience fault-finding on PLC software
• Commitment to customer satisfaction
• Good communication - both verbal and written and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
• The ability to work under pressure.
• A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
• Must be able to pass a Police clearance check.
• Flexibility to travel throughout metropolitan Brisbane
• Willing to be ‘on call’ when required
