You'll also be joining at an exciting time as it was recently announced that KBR and our joint venture partner, John Holland, will continue to deliver major water and sewerage projects for another three years for Melbourne Water.


As a Drafter in the Water team you’ll work on interesting and challenging projects from day one, so we’ll need you to adapt and continue to learn to ensure you're part of keeping KBR ahead of the curve.  


The team produce drawings for a wide variety of projects so expect to work on sewer networks, pump station buildings, or long section detailed pipeline drawings to name a few. 


What's important in this role:

  • AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D or Civil 3D experience
  • Ability to drop yourself in the deep end gain lots of experience using new software
  • If you have working knowledge in Revit or Navisworks, or Microstation then we'll definitely view that as a bonus
  • Great communication skills, which are always important 
  • Understand the importance of working in a team - it's all about collaboration
  • A desire to share knowledge and learn from peers
  • Understand the Australian and Victorian standards and regulations
  • An Associate Diploma in Drafting - Electrical, Mechanical and / or Structural
