This is an excellent opportunity for a Reliability Engineer to join a strong Engineering team. You will be responsible for the day to day Maintenance & Reliability activities across the site.

Our client is a growing FMCG manufacturer who are looking to add a hands on Reliability engineer to their existing engineering team. Utilising advanced levels of technologies, they have grown substantially and are positioned as a market leader.
Description
The Maintenance and Reliability Engineer works as an integral part of the Maintenance team and contributes to the achievement of safety, quality, throughput and cost goals through the investigation of equipment failures and development of reliability improvement actions and through effective forward planning and scheduling of maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Management of maintenance team members, ensuring team members have the appropriate skill sets, performance and training plans and are motivated to perform to expectations and the standards required
- Assist with the development of the annual maintenance and capital budget and contribute to effectiveness of site maintenance and capital spend
- Provide and maintain plant, facilities and systems of work, including first aid facilities and safe use, handling, storage and transport of plant and substances
Profile
Key skills include:
- Degree qualified Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineer
- People management and leadership skills
- Track record of Continuous Improvement
- Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
- Experienced with TPM and other Reliability management and maintenance excellence approach
- Experienced in Root Cause Analysis techniques (5S, Kanban, FMECA, SMED)
- Experience in Life Cycle Asset Management
