Our Opportunity

OneSKY is a game-changer for Australia’s airspace. The project will unify Australian skies under a new, harmonised air traffic management system. This will enable a new level of safety and efficiency, while also reducing delays for the travelling public and providing opportunities to improve environmental outcomes. It will be the catalyst for better connectivity to underpin Australia’s sustainable growth into the future. OneSKY will transform Australia’ sky and we are proud to be partners in its delivery. As such, we are looking to engage an Engineering Data Manager to be in charge of all the engineering technical artefacts, their inter-relationships and their consistency including the tools associated to their management. This includes the requirements, the models, the frameworks along with any associated tools, checkers, templates, rules, meta-models.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all requirements engineering artefacts including System, Software requirements and associated testing artefacts for the Mission and Support System
  • Be responsible of all solution engineering artefacts including models and the functional chains
  • Be in charge of all implementation artefacts including frameworks, the checkers, the generators, the templates, meta-models
  • Supervise the management of all Software Assurance evidences
  • Define, set-up and manage the configuration management of all the these engineering artefacts
  • Contribute to all major engineering reviews

About You

  • Degree qualification in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Strong experience in system engineering management of complex systems including software based real time and distributed systems in Rail, Traffic, Marine, Aviation, Space
  • Strong requirements management experience and detailed understanding of engineering documentation
  • Advanced reporting and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent internal and customer facing skills
