We are currently looking to recruit a Cadet Drafter to join our Civil & Community Infrastructure team.
 
Based at the Springfield office, approximately 30mins west of Brisbane you will be part of a young dynamic office that values their people with regular training and social events. The Springfield office opened approximately 10 years ago continues to grow off the back of successfully delivered projects and a strong industry reputation. Our projects are located throughout SEQ and range from master planned communities and high-density developments through to major infrastructure projects.
 
As a Cadet Drafter you will –

• Learn all facets of CAD, drafting and design techniques and gain skills in relevant computer programs; and
• Provide accurate and efficient drafting services for the Business Unit in accordance with project times and budgets, with detailed supervision.

 
Applicants will have successfully completed Grade 12 and have achieved a minimum of a Sound Achievement in Maths B for admission to the Associate Degree of Civil Engineering course through an approved university or Tafe. We will consider those that have already commenced or completed their Associate Degree or intending to commence.
 
You will also possess –

• An ability to gain and apply knowledge of engineering drawing techniques and CAD packages
• Intermediate skills in MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
• An ability to problem solve and manage your time effectively
