ABOUT THE COMPANY.
An immediate opportunity has arisen within a Local Council in the Inner West region of Sydney for an initial 6 month contract which has the potential to be extended. This team has a strong pipeline of projects ranging from roads, kerb and gutter, footpaths, and carparks.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Project Engineer you will report to the Team Leader and will assist in coordinating the on site constructions activities and team. You will play a pivotal role in managing projects from design to construction and ensuring the timely delivery of quality projects within their specified budgets.
DUTIES.
- Liaising with key stakeholders
- Contract documentation and tender preparation
- Resolving on site design and constructability issues
- Managing/overseeing construction activities on site
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Degree qualifications in Civil Engineering/Construction or related
- Leadership and management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent understanding of technical specifications
