Developing on an existing and strong process / mechanical engineering group, Synertec is eager to engage a Principal Process / Mechanical Engineer.
The role will be based at Synertec’s Richmond Head Office, with visits to client sites (Local and Interstate)
As a Principal Engineer at Synertec the successful applicant will be responsible for partial or complete project delivery within set budget and time frames.
The Principal Engineer is also expected to support the Business Development and Management of their department working closely with the Department Manager and Business Development team.
We are calling for applications that are able to demonstrate no less than 10 years engineering experience, preferably obtained in Food, Dairy, Bulk Fuel / Refining and/or Pharmaceutical industries.
Applicants should demonstrate both technical expertise as well as project management experience in projects valued $1M-$18M.
The successful individual will be responsible for;
- Engineering & project management as a consultant
- Design development, review & approval
- Project budget & reporting
- Project site support & supervision
- Liaise with clients & suppliers at a project level
- Produce & maintain design, validation & commissioning documentation
- Business development, tendering & estimating
