We require a fully experienced Mechanical Design Draftsperson to join our growing manufacturing facility located in Wodonga Victoria.

Working with an experienced engineering team, you will have extensive experience with modern sheet-metal fabrication, materials handling, food grade piping and general design

To be successful in this role you will:

• have tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering – CAD
• have at least 5 years’ current experience in Mechanical Design and Drafting
• be proficient with current versions of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software
• be proficient in 3D modelling and detailing
• be capable of producing and managing large and complex assemblies
• have experience with designs and design processes within the materials handling and food industries, including sheet-metal.

• have experience with Plant Layout and associated equipment
• have a solid understanding of Australian Standards applicable to each job.
• be a self-starter, capable of working independently or in a team
• have excellent written and verbal skills, fluently speaking and understanding English.
• have recent exposure to modern manufacturing processes and practical application (Trade background well regarded)
• The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and determined self-starter.

This is a full-time salary position after qualifying period of 6 months to the successful candidate.
