C5 Pro-Solutions is a Tasmanian owned multi-discipline engineering consulting company with extensive experience in electrical engineering, civil engineering, software development and electrical testing. About the role

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Business Manager as the technical manager on all aspects of design and testing related activities, including:

• Acting as subject matter expert for all aspects of transmission and distribution design/testing and provide technical leadership of the Engineering team in delivering a high level of technical design & advisory services related to both regulated and industrial electrical networks
• Coordination of the design/testing engineering team, scheduling of workloads and ensuring that project completion is on time, within budget and to the client's standards
• Liaison with internal & external stakeholders as well as key clients to maintain and enhance existing relationships
• Ensuring Quality Assurance procedures are followed in accordance with company and client standards
• Interpreting information and communicating effectively with clients and peers
• Analysing and reporting on financial data relating to the projects performance
• Managing relationship with subcontractors to ensure a high level of performance in terms of time, cost, and quality.

Skills and experience

We are looking for someone that is results-oriented and focused on delivering work and also understands how to align your work to business outcomes. An innovative thinker who excels in a team environment and displays a high level of attention to detail. You will be a qualified Engineer with 10+ years relevant professional experience in the electricity industry and have extensive experience in design, testing and managing small technical teams which include:

• Proven ability to lead small teams with a focus on maintaining a positive and collaborative culture whilst delivering high quality design
• Ability to provide guidance and help others to develop their technical skills
• Strong technical knowledge of the power distribution/transmission networks
• Ability to hit the ground running with new and existing projects
• A practical knowledge of relevant Australian standards and related legislative requirements
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage simultaneous projects with competing timeframes
• Outstanding attention to detail and quality focused
• Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills
• May require occasional short-term interstate travel
