About us:

We are currently seeking a self-motivated systems engineering, integration and test lead to manage and develop systems and effectively lead a team of systems engineers across a range of projects.

Day to day responsibilities of your new role will include:

  1. Manage and develop the systems engineering team across the JP2068 program:
  2. Ensure that the system engineering processes are competently applied across the program and program team
    • Requirements
    • Design Integrity
    • Integration
    • Verification and validation
  3. Develop and mature the system engineering procedure documents including SEMP and CMP for use on the program.
  4. Support the whole program team in the execution of systems engineering tasks.
  5. Any other duties as reasonably required.

To be successful in this role you will need the following essential skills:

  • Formal engineering qualification, preferably systems engineering major
  • Experience guiding a team of engineers
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Technical writing skills
  • Strong technical background

And Ideally you will also be familiar with the following:

  • Certified as INCOSE E/CSEP
  • Experience working within the INCOSE system engineering methodology
  • Working experience in developmental ICT projects.
  • Working experience with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and ASD’s Strategies to Mitigate Cyber Security Incidents
