The role

We are currently seeking a talented Experienced Engineer to help support the Combined Services Engineer (CSR) team.  

With 5+ years’ experience in developing multidiscipline CSR designs on large scale rail projects within, you will play a key role in: -

• Providing expert advice and demonstrating advanced technical skills, ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
• Proactively collaborating with appropriate team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables
• Actively contribute to the commercial success of projects and the team
• Apply project management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely manner

With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

• Combined Services Engineer (CSR)on large scale rail projects within NSW
• Highly motivated, approachable and works well within a team environment
• Excellent understanding of the technical aspect of CSR design including Signalling, Telecommunications, LV and HV
• Excellent understanding of ASA / Australian Standards
• Previous on-site experience with an understanding of constructability issues around CSR and capable of developing solutions to minimise construction risk.
• Experienced in Project delivery and tenders
• Bachelor degree (Civil, Electrical or Telecommunications)
