About the Opportunity

AWMA now has an exciting opportunity for a personable Project Manager to join their team in Cohuna, VIC on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Operations Manager this is a varied and busy role that will see you actively planning, coordinating and managing works across various projects within the AWMA manufacturing facility. You will be joining an existing team of six other Project Managers and will share a workload of projects predominantly in the urban planning space, varying in size from $3,000 to $6 million in scope, depending on your experience and areas of interest.

Project deliverables will include:

• Liaising with the AWMA design team for the design of customised products including flood barriers, penstocks, gates and stop boards;
• Liaising with the AWMA installation and manufacturing teams to ensure correct production and delivery of products;
• Communicating daily with customers to provide status updates on project milestones; and
• Collaborating with the rest of the AWMA project team on best practice and sharing resources as required.

To be considered for this position you will ideally hold tertiary qualifications as an Engineer in the civil, mechanical or electrical disciplines, with a strong background in project management. However, AWMA will also consider applicants without an engineering background, providing they have extensive project management experience within a relevant industry such as manufacturing, sewer treatment and/or water treatment.
