Do not miss out on a great opportunity to become a trade qualified mechanical engineer. You will join a well established tooling business based in Acacia Ridge and enter a full time training program with a view to becoming a designer in product and tool design.
Your program will commence with you spending approximately 18 months on the shop floor working with CNC machining centres, learning from qualified tradesmen. You will then move into a design role, learning from the designers.
We are seeking a candidate that meets the following criteria:
- Mechanical Engineering qualification
- An understanding and interest in operating CNC machining centres
- The ability to read and interpret diagrams
- An interest in mechanical design
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Safety awareness for yourself and fellow workmates
- Good communication skills
- A strong team player
