WTC is experiencing significant sales growth and this, combined with long-term sales cycles, has resulted in a need for an additional person to join our sales team.  We are seeking a person with solid technical sales experience in a high value product environment with the desire to be mentored to enhance and refine their sales techniques.

Your role will be to work with the sales and technical teams to target our key markets through developing outstanding relationships and identifying and fostering new business relationships.  The role includes all sales support activities from assisting customers with business case justifications, tender preparation, bid management, technical solution marketing, through to after sales technical support.  You will have a high level of internal stakeholder interaction, working collaboratively across numerous departments including sales, design, production and customer delivery and installation.

The successful candidate will bring the following attributes:

  • Relevant technical and business tertiary qualifications coupled with a strong commercial sense.
  • 5+ years experience generating sales for technical solutions in the high dollar value space, using relational sales skills and strong negotiation abilities, whilst providing a quality customer experience.  Experience in the power industry will be well regarded.
  • The ability to effectively collaborate with key internal colleagues to achieve outcomes.
  • The ability to develop a good technical understanding of our products.
  • Proficient skills with a CRM and MS Office.
  • Excellent ability to prioritise and organise.
  • Willingness to travel nationally.
