Our clients are some of the largest and most prestigious companies on the international oil and gas scene.
We are looking to add a PROJECT ENGINEER to our impressive and growing team to assist with procurement, logistics and fabrication monitoring.
Reporting to our Project Managers, this role will be predominantly office based with the possibility of occasional offshore work.
The ideal candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:-
- Qualification in Engineering with between 1 and 5 years' experience;
- Experience in managing small to medium sized projects;
- Oil and gas experience is beneficial;
- Experience in subsea engineering/ drilling completions/ working offshore;
- Knowledge of steel fabrication/ welding;
- Experience using SAP By Design is highly beneficial;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic;
- Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety;
- Right to work in Australia is essential.
Duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing RFQs / ITPs;
- Issuing all drawings and documents to suppliers;
- Ensuring all suppliers meet our QA requirements;
- Data entry in SAP;
- Ensuring that all fabrication inspections are completed and filed;
- Ensuring all CPAs are closed out;
- Ensuring all MDRs / load test docs etc are checked, filed and issued;
- Checking invoices against delivery dockets;
- Assisting with FATs/ SITs;
- Assisting with logistics and load outs.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
