In this Project Engineer role, you will be able to make a real impact through implementing projects across automation, site upgrades, equipment replacement, and productivity improvement. In addition, you will be responsible for the management of projects, which includes coordinating both internal resources and external contractors.
What ingredients do you need to be successful?
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering (electrical)
- A minimum of 5 years project engineering experience
- Experience in budgeting, capital planning, cost estimating and capex preparation
- A knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s and HMI’s
- Experience with the use of Wonderware would be advantageous
- Familiarity with SAP for planning and purchasing
- Some experience in CAD software
- The ability to use MS Projects for project management
- Ability to communicate effectively & work as part of a team
Your industry background will be in food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing, or other highly automated manufacturing environments with robotics.
