What are we looking for?
We are currently growing our team to meet the demands of our strong and growing pipeline of work, a position has been opened to support the projects of our growing Building Services team in Melbourne. Your role will include:
- Proactively delivering and managing selected projects or components of projects, taking responsibility for resource allocation, collaborating with other design disciplines ensuring the integrity of the overall design, quality assurance, and client expectations are met;
- Providing direction to the project team and promoting awareness of technical and commercial risk assessments and mitigation and best value design options;
- Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders throughout the project life-cycle;
- Managing all commercial aspects (contracting, invoicing, debt management, client management etc.);
- Understanding our client’s business and the VIC industry, to facilitate building effective and enduring relationships and consolidating both company and personal credibility in the industry.
Who are we looking for?
You will have:
- 7+ years' demonstrated experience within electrical design and management is essential;
- Experienced in a cross section of sectors including Retail, Residential and Commercial projects;
- Relevant post-graduate experience, including supervising aspects of a project, application of standards and technical knowledge
- Ability to manage all commercial aspects (contracting, invoicing, debt management, client management etc.); and
- Proven experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the team.
