We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection (NDT) Manager to support and develop company standards and contractor relationships to undertake NDT and Inspection Services.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager East, the NDT Manager will be required to conduct scope development for projects, resolve any continued operational and maintenance issues, undertake or support the execution of projects from early engineering through to commissioning and handover to operations.
Support will also be required with business development and marketing strategies of existing and new clients. The successful applicant will be self-motivated and able to work within a highly motivated team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing a suite of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and vessel inspection documents for additional NATA accreditation
- Management of NDT and inspection competency requirements in line with company standards
- Review all company Asset Integrity Standards and liaise with company engineering management
- Investigating new areas of capability
- Conducting NDT and Inspection scope development for projects within production facilities, including feasibility and detailed engineering design
- Ensuring all project scopes being managed are conducted in accordance with all relevant industry standards, codes and legislative requirements
Experience required:
- Minimum 15 years' experience in the hydrocarbon or mining industry with extensive exposure to NDT, asset integrity and advanced inspection techniques
- Exposure to plant operation, design practices, commissioning/start up
- Production/Plant/Refinery maintenance experience
- Engineering projects and hazardous area industry experience with demonstrated capability and delivery experience
- Tertiary degree from a recognised university or equivalency through industry experience
- Current drivers licence
