ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Due to an increase in projects, an immediate opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join a Northern NSW Local Council. This Council has a vibrant and driven team with a strong focus on personal and professional development.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Project Engineer, you will report to the Team Leader and will assist in coordinating on site construction activities alongside a team of 7. You will play a pivotal role in managing projects from their initial design stages through to construction, ensuring their timely delivery within the specified budget.
DUTIES.
- Provide technical advice to Clients and relevant Stakeholders
- Prepare contract and tender documentation
- Resolve on site design and construction related issues
- Supervise site staff
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering/Construction is advantageous
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Previous Local Council experience is desirable
