ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

SGS Australia has an opportunity available for an Oil Condition Monitoring Diagnostician to join their Oil, Gas and Chemicals laboratory based in the Perth Airport. As an Oil Condition Monitoring Diagnostician you will specialise in interpreting laboratory analysis of lubricating oils and greases, whilst ensuring diagnostic results meet our customer expectations.

RESPONSIBILITES

As an Oil Condition Monitoring Diagnostician, you will be required to:
• Undertake in depth analysis of lubricating oils and greases and the interpretation of results.
• Undertake research and development work under the direction and guidance of the senior diagnostician
• Ensure customer/client turnaround times and agreed deadlines are met.
• Liaise with customers to ensure the scope of analysis is clearly understood/documented.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

As the successful candidates, you will have:
• Qualified in a Mechanical trade and/or Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Demonstrable experience within the Mobile, Fixed plant or Turbine industries, specifically Oils Diagnostics.
• Proven experience in condition monitoring, testing and/or maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving and time management skills
• Previous experience working and engaging with clients
